Dr. Elisabeth R. Sato is a New Jersey-based music educator and violin performer. She holds a Bachelor and Master of Music degree in violin performance from Temple University and a Master and Doctor of Education degree in music and music education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Elisabeth has presented her work at the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) National Conference as well as conferences/workshops for music educators in New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. Elisabeth is in her twelfth year of teaching in New Jersey public schools and is currently the Orchestra Director for grades 4-5 at Martin Luther King Intermediate School in Piscataway, NJ. Additionally, Elisabeth serves as Co-Chair of the Procedures Committee for the New Jersey All State Orchestra and Intermediate Orchestra and Treasurer of ASTA/NJ.
