Robert is managing partner at Tournon Ventures, where he manages a portfolio of 25 venture investments and advises companies on strategy and operations.
Most recently he was the Senior Director for BD & Project Finance at Dandelion Energy, a renewable residential heating and cooling company, where he managed Dandelion's customer finance program, associated lending partner relationships, and B2B partnerships.
Robert spent four years at NRG Energy (Fortune 250) where he lead project development for large commercial and industrial portfolio customers in the manufacturing, education, technology, and mining spaces. He utilized his extensive experience in solar market and project development to provide guidance to corporate customers of how to utilize renewable energy projects to provide economic benefits through efficient project planning and structuring. Prior to NRG, he spent five years at SPG Solar, a national solar EPC, leading marketing strategy, partnership development, and small utility project development for the company.
Prior to entering the solar industry, he was a management consultant for the firm Pace Harmon (now West Monroe) specializing in strategic sourcing and procurement advisory within the mobile technology and real estate services sectors for large Fortune 500 telecommunications companies.
