Overview
Erik Coleman is a 25+ year veteran of the craft beer, spirits, and beverage industry with a unique blend of expertise in hospitality, education, and experiential marketing. As a Ciceron, and spirit expert and event strategist, he’s built a reputation for crafting immersive tasting experiences that combine flavor, storytelling, and connection — or as he calls it, “edutainment.”
He’s the founder of Beer By Coleman LLC, co-owner of RationAles (a craft beer and cocktail bar in Williamsville, NY), and the Director of Brewing, Fermentation & Distillation at Trocaire College, where he shapes the next generation of brewers and distillers.

As Director of Trocaire’s Brewing Program, Erik designs curriculum, teaches fermentation science, and builds partnerships with local breweries and distilleries. He also consults on beverage program development, hospitality training, and event strategy for restaurants, venues, and startups.
