Erika R. Burnett (she/her) has committed her professional career to advancing a person-centered approach to community development, entrepreneurship, education, and advocacy. Her personal commitment to inspire professionals, deepen impact, and challenge the status quo of service delivery is embodied in her role as master trainer, consultant, and educator across a variety of topics including strategic planning, board development, civic engagement, leadership exploration, and team/organizational psychology. In 2018, she, alongside Co-Conspirator Nicole Kemp, launched Women of Color Collaborative equipping women and girls to work, play and build their way towards healthier, more affirming spaces while centering their identities.
Erika received her B.A. in English Education from Tennessee State University and her M.Ed. in Community Development Action from Vanderbilt University. She is a proud AmeriCorps, & New Leaders Council Alum who has been committed to the nonprofit sector for nearly 20 years.More...
