Justin Rawley has a background in neuroscience (PhD Wake Forest University School of Medicine) and music (M.M. Eastman School of Music). Her scientific research is in the fields of electrophysiology, and psychometrics in animal models and human subjects/patients; she has utilized medical imaging techniques extensively including MRI and MEG and has experience in programming and data analysis. She began her teaching career after finishing her post-doctoral work in 2015. Regular courses taught include Human Anatomy & Physiology, and Clinical Neuroanatomy, but she has also been a TA in medical neuroscience and lectured in music history. Duties include curriculum design, conducting lecture and laboratory classes (in-person and on-line), creating and evaluating assessments of student learning. As a musician, has lead church choirs, performed recitals on organ, harpsichord, and piano, and has experience in both choral and orchestral conducting. Additionally, she holds a Private Pilot's License for single engine land aircraft with tailwheel, complex, and high-performance endorsements, as well as rotorcraft-gyroplane.
