Kweku Sylvester Gbewonyo is a seasoned Applied Mathematician and financial strategist with over 27 years in investment banking and fund management. They began their career as a securities trader at Merrill Lynch in London before moving to Wall Street. Following the acquisition of Fox Data, they joined Instinet, supporting electronic trading platforms for exchanges and institutional traders.
Specializing in ESG investing, Kweku has co-founded and led multiple Financial Capitalization Groups, executing over 450 capitalizations and facilitating mergers and acquisitions for middle-market and publicly traded businesses. Their expertise in emerging markets has fueled the growth of Private Equity portfolios, with investments through PESWA Capital, Noble Capital Fund, HGT Capital, and Hudson East Capital.
