I was born into tech. I built my first computer when I was 8 years old. However, I didn't have tech as a career. I spent 4 years in the restaurant industry, and 4 years as a steel worker. Over the course of that time, my best friend *gently harassed* me into becoming an engineer.
I did an 18 month bootcamp. I got my first job 6 months in. I've worked for colleges, construction companies, banks, medical companies, and more.
In 2023 I made the decision to make it official, and get my Bachelor degree. In 2024, I completed my degree (67 credits in one semester, ouch) and now hold a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from WGU.
My experience is full-stack, mobile, desktop, and gaming. I've published multiple games on Google Play and have more in the works. I don't mind back end but I tend to do more work on the front end. JavaScript is my passion language but I know C# and frameworks for both.More...
