Born into a military family in Arkansas, USA, Matt has always had a passion for travel. His career has taken him on a unique path filled with unexpected turns. After earning a degree in chemical engineering, he initially worked in college ministry before co-founding a business in China with his wife and two partner couples. After nine years, he returned to the U.S. and spent five years in renewable fuels technology development.
