CEO & Co-Founder of Pelidum | Trust & Safety Advisor | Regulatory & Public Sector Expert
I am a founder, commercial leader, and operations expert, currently building Pelidum to help platforms navigate the complex world of Trust & Safety and addressing AI safety.
My career has been defined by building new things under high-stakes conditions. From policy ops, to Legal, I was the first LegalOps hire for YouTube in Europe, where I built the function from the ground up. At Google, I specialised in turning complex regulations into operational reality.
I led the project to implement Germany's €50M-fine NetzDG law for YouTube, creating the framework that became a blueprint for future regulations.
I led the policy-side design for 'YT Flows,' an internal case-management product we built from scratch to handle all global user complaints.
I served on the EMEA EmergencyResponse Team, managing real-time crises like terrorist attacks.
After Google, I dove into the US and EU startup world to gain hands-on commercial and government affairs experience. At Palo Alto-based TrustLab, I built the European presence from scratch, selling and managing high-value ($200k-$500k) measurement projects. Critically, I established the company's strategic relationships with the EU Commission, Parliament, and national regulators.
I also led the complex eIDAS certification for German startup Nect, proving my expertise across the full spectrum of EU tech regulation, from content to identity.
Now, I am using this complete playbook spanning legal, product, sales, and policy to build Pelidum.
