I am currently a junior at Maine Maritime Academy, pursuing a degree in Power Engineering Technology with a minor in Nuclear Engineering. Through my coursework, I’ve built a strong foundation in power plant operations, thermodynamics, and energy systems management. My education has provided me with both classroom knowledge and hands-on experience, allowing me to develop the technical skills and problem-solving abilities needed to excel in the energy industry.
In addition to my academic background, I gained valuable real-world experience during my internship at ND Paper, where I worked as a Boiler Operator. In that role, I was responsible for monitoring and maintaining boiler systems, performing operational checks, and ensuring the safe and efficient generation of steam.
