Lynne has been a science journalist and communicator for more than 20 years, honing her career through roles including Senior Writer at WHO’s African headquarters, Editor of Our Genes (Africa Genome Education Institute), and collaborations with academic institutions and the scientific committees of international medical conferences. She regularly mentors science journalists, particularly in Africa. She is past president of the South African Science Journalists’ Association and past chair of the South African Freelancers’ Association.
