I serve as a Deputy at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, where I have been a dedicated law enforcement professional for 15 years with a keen focus on community engagement and helping the community. I have successfully implemented Bondable Pups with the Sheriff’s Office where it has significantly reduced the anxiety and metal well being of incarcerated individuals and youth. This program has also increased adoption rates as well as taught inmates how to process their emotions through learning to assist in training the dogs to be adopted by the public. My leadership in crisis situations with inmates and citizens and my commitment to fostering trust between the police and the community have earned me the rank of Corporal.
Outside of my official duties, I am an advocate for youth mentorship programs, believing in the power of education and guidance to shape future generations. I am also an active advocate for all animals that have no voice as well as a caretaker for my husband.More...
