With over twenty six years of creative design experience, my diverse skills and qualifications have given me the opportunity to work in a variety of roles and responsibilities throughout the industry. I am personally guided by a strong sense of artistic and creative pride. My experiences, and positions have included roles as Creative Director, Illustrator, Art Director, Graphic Artist, Leader, Project Manager, Mentor, Presenter, Graphic Designer, and Teacher, within a variety of creative departments in small, medium, and large agencies and companies.
My passion and love for the creative arts has also guided me to expand my exploits with teaching. It’s become more than a passion but a new found career path. I’ve been a professor in the graphic arts for over eighteen years, and have had the pleasure of teaching a variety of courses at Alma College, Central Michigan University, and currently at Kendall College of Art & Design and Grand Valley State University.
As if teaching and working in the field wasn’t enough, I recently finished my Masters of Fine Arts degree from
the Savannah College of Art & Design, in Graphic Design & Visual Experiences.
When I am not teaching, or working on creative projects with my business; Ignite Creative and Design, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Lastly, I am big with my creativity, energy and passion for my craft, but never of my ego.More...
