Hey guys! I’m Samir, and Java is my thing! But don’t worry, I’m not the type to memorize code like song lyrics. These days, I’m much more focused on leading teams and driving projects than writing code full-time. Of course, when needed, I have no problem diving into the code. After all, it’s 2025 — we need to be agile and efficient! With 15 years of experience in technology, 12 years working with Java, and 5 years leading teams, I’m the kind of person who creates a relaxed and collaborative environment, where ideas flow and everyone feels confident bringing their best. I’ve led front-end, back-end, and data teams, and I have solid experience in architecture design and end-to-end solution development. At BV, besides leading squads focused on digital products, I was also in charge of data engineering and AI initiatives: building pipelines, real-time event streaming with Kafka, data lakes, and cloud-based integrations to support machine learning models. One of the highlights was the NBA (Next Best Action) project, where we used Vertex AI to personalize financial offers — bringing the same kind of personalization you see on Netflix or TikTok to the financial world. Some of the most remarkable projects I’ve worked on include Caixa Econômica Federal’s Internet Banking, Banco Votorantim’s new digital banking app, and, of course, the NBA initiative. At BV, I also led two tribes: One focused on technological innovation, exploring how AI could enhance customer experience. Another focused on credit solutions, with squads covering retail, wholesale, and data — where the real magic happened. When I’m not leading or supporting the team, you’ll probably find me gaming or watching basketball and football. I have an amazing son named Gabriel, my adventure buddy, and a wonderful wife. So if you’re looking for a leader who knows how to design solid architectures, build end-to-end solutions, and lead teams with empathy, collaboration, and a focus on outcomes — count on me! Cheers, SamirMore...
