Vincent Inciong is a music educator, independent musician, and multimedia enthusiast from Central New Jersey. He has been a high school band director since 2001, is currently a CJMEA Modern Band Manager, has released several solo LP’s, and is currently the frontman and guitar player for a 90’s radio rock cover band, Remember Yesterday.
Vincent holds a BM from William Paterson University for Music Education and Classical Percussion Performance and a MM from SUNY Stony Brook for Classical Percussion Performance. He has been the Band Director at Middlesex High School (NJ) since 2001 where he teaches Concert Band, Guitar & Music Industry, Drum Lab & Music Tech, and music theory classes. In his time at Middlesex High School, he has created a vibrant Music Scene (Modern Band) that includes Honor Band, Multimedia Club, and Listening Room/Acoustic Rock Show that both focus on original student material, pop, and rock music.
As a rocker and metalhead, Vincent records acoustic singer/songwriter and hard rock music in his spare time. He collects guitars and Funko Pops, tries to cook like a Michelin-Star chef, bakes sourdough bread, and dabbles with photo and video editing. Slowly establishing himself as a composer of educational percussion music and advocate for Modern Band, Vincent is looking forward to figuring out what he wants to be when he grows up! :) Professional affiliations are ASCAP, NAfME, APME, NJMEA, and NJEA.
