Rooted in a lifelong love for the outdoors and inspired by my father's footsteps, I’ve spent over a decade designing and leading transformative outdoor experiences that center inclusion, emotional growth, and resilience. My journey began in the National Cadet Corps, where I honed my leadership through kayaking, camping, and mountain climbing, eventually founding the Adventure Team in 2009 and training with CAMP CHALLENGE as part of their 18th Basic Instructor Course.
I’ve worked with diverse groups across challenging terrains—both physical and emotional—applying the philosophy of Change, Adapt, Master, Plan to navigate complexity with care. In 2012, I led my first camp for individuals with special needs, a pivotal moment that deepened my commitment to making the outdoors a space of healing and belonging for all.
Driven by this purpose, I made a bold shift at age 29—leaving my role in Social Services to pursue a Diploma in Outdoor & Adventure Learning at Republic Polytechnic. My long-term aspiration is to earn a Ph.D. in Outdoor Therapy, exploring how nature-based experiences can support emotional wellbeing and inclusion.
