At LGU Loboc, I served as IT/Network Administrator and ETRACS System Admin. I designed the local government’s entire IT infrastructure, configured Cisco routers and switches, and ensured secure, high-availability environments for critical systems like NGAS and ETRACS. I also implemented a public CCTV network spanning half a kilometer using the same backbone, optimizing cost and coverage. I handled end-to-end system maintenance, supported users, and improved performance while introducing emerging technologies into practical government applications.
Outside of work, I’ve helped multiple student teams succeed in thesis competitions through mentorship, system thinking, and strategy—even without hands-on hardware knowledge. I approach problems with a mix of logic, empathy, and execution.
In 2013, I was invited as a judge to an engineering thesis competition—despite being a computer science student with no engineering license. Two struggling teams approached me before the event. I didn’t know their specific tools—but I understood systems. I helped them simplify, refocus, and rebuild. Both made it to the Top 3. A year later, another team I mentored also placed.
That experience rewired how I see my role in tech:
I don’t need to master every tool—I need to master how things connect.
