Stephanie Fisher has been an advocate for marginalized youth since she walked into a classroom in New York City as a middle school math teacher. After serving as a principal, interim superintendent, stephanie joined the New Standards in Education project at the University of Pennsylvania, researching the supports and resources needed by schools and districts to improve student learning outcomes. She worked with New Visions for Public Schools creating networks for superintendents and mentoring new school and district leadership, implementing wanted whole school improvement across the United States for NCEE and America’s Choice; and served as the Director of Common Core and Managing Director of Global Standards and Scales for Pearson.
