cultural anthropology at Stanford, he began working as an educator and creative director on

practical and relevant. With over 30 years of experience as a designer, he has had the

Anthropologie, Coca-Cola International, Levi’s, Nike, Undefeated, The North Face, Free
People, Urban Outfitters, REI Co-op, to name a few.
He has been a featured speaker for ICSC, AIGA, SEGD, RDI, The Starwood Hotel Group,
and Ingka Centres for IKEA among others. As a member of the AIA Retail and Entertainment
Knowledge Center leadership team, he has helped develop permanent curriculum for
architects and designers on the future of retail. As an educator, he has lectured at Princeton
University, University of the Arts Philadelphia, and California State University, Long Beach.
