Born in 1984, Nanor Der Boghossian is a Beirut-based Graphic Designer, Web Designer, and visual communicator who grew up in Lebanon. Raised by her late mother, Gulène, an artist known for her sculpture and painting (www.gulene.com), and with an artist sister, Maral (https://maral.format.com), Nanor's artistic inclinations were continually nurtured. She earned a Licence degree in Visual Communication and a Master’s in Multimedia Web Design in 2009 from the School of Fine Arts at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA).
From 2009 to 2015, she served as the lead designer at Art Lounge Beirut and Artheum, where she played a key role in organizing events like the Beirut Art Book Fair, Beirut Bloom, Beirut Fashion, Beirut Photo Fair, Beirut Furniture Expo, Jewelry Design Week, and Dubai Photo Expo.
In 2009, she was commissioned by Art Lounge Beirut Publishing to design the book "Beirut Street Art Vol. I," collaborating with local graffiti artists under the sponsorship of Pikasso Lawhat. Following its success, she created the second volume in 2012.
In 2011, Nanor worked with Gallery Laboratoire d’Art to develop the brand identity for the 3rd edition of the Cabriolet Film Festival, handling from conception to production and promotional materials in partnership with London Taxi in Beirut.
From 2013 to 2019, she worked full-time as a graphic designer at Khatib and Alami Headquarters in Beirut, focusing on various urban planning design projects for multiple countries.
In 2019, she joined the Armenian Artist Network Switzerland (AANS) as a Senior graphic designer. There, she developed the brand identity and visual communication for the inaugural Armenian Art Experience Switzerland (AAES) in Aarau, Switzerland.
Between 2021 and 2022, she served as the lead visual communication designer for the project "Lebanese Yawmiyat (Diaries): Archiving Unfinished Stories of Spatial Violence," collaborating with the University of Exeter, UCLA, and an "Imagining Futures" initiative.
