As the School Principal at the Board Of Education Jersey City, I oversee a large and diverse school district's academic, administrative, and operational aspects, ensuring compliance with state and federal standards, fostering a positive and inclusive culture, and promoting excellence and innovation among staff and students.
I am also the Principal of the Adult Evening Diploma Program, a unique and successful initiative that offers high school diplomas for adults who want to pursue higher education or career opportunities. I have established meaningful partnerships with community educational programs, such as the National Academy Foundation, to provide students with access to quality curriculum, mentorship, and resources. I started my Ph.D. in Educational Leadership; I have an M.A. in Administration, a B.S. in Education, and certifications in Supervisor, Principal, and Teacher of the Handicapped, and my most recent certification from Harvard Graduate School of Education as a School Turnaround Leader.
