Currently I lead the implementations and conversions to JAS’s new global WMS. I am tasked with gathering requirements, integration mapping, developing reporting solutions, and acting as the face of the project from a technical perspective. When I am not working directly on WMS projects I am in charge working with our reporting team to redevelop our internal reporting platform along with working with our South African team on redeveloping our integration platform and redefining/redeveloping their processes. I work closely with our Director of IT in developing new standards and processes for JAS to roll out globally on the contract logistics side of the business. At my previous employer I was tasked with the maintenance and continued development of our WMS (Manhattan Scale) customer data post replication out of the database. Replication currently is being done by the use of Qlik Replicate landing data directly into Snowflake, Microsoft Event Hubs, and Azure Gen2 Datastore. POC-ing the potential use of Confluent Kafka and Kafka to replace part or all of Qlik Replicate. Post replication I utilize SnowSQL to help develop business logic for the teams I support. Will be testing DataBricks and Azure Data Stream as other potential business logic tools to land/create necessary data feeds. Aid our Data Analytics team with dashboard and logic creation for Microsoft PowerBi. I also continue to help support our Application Launch team with our WMS (Manhattan Scale). Part of that support is aiding in the configuration, SSRS report writing, and process tie out (making sure system processes and physical processes are compatible) during pre and post go live. I have also begun to aid in the operational team training with our Startup and Execution Team (SET).
