Michael is a researcher and data scientist. He started his career in the area of international trade and economic development, including work at the Swedish National Board of Trade and the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD). His more recent work has focused on the calculation and analysis of country and city rankings on issues related to talent and technology, where past projects include The Global Talent Competitiveness Index for INSEAD and The Future Readiness Economic Index commissioned by Google.
Michael holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Geneva, where his research focused on the economic impact of non-tariff barriers to international trade.More...
