In practice that usually means one of three conversations: "our tools don't talk to each other", "this process is still done by hand", or "the legacy system has gone from 'deal with it later' to 'deal with it now'". I build the connective layer between systems, automate the repetitive work, and put AI to work where it actually earns its keep — not where it just sounds good in a deck.
