Greetings! I skip over a lot of opportunities because they do not focus on the Business Process Analyst aspect of the position I am seeking. Anyone can administer Jira & Confluence, but it takes a special type of person to also advise the community on improvements to existing processes. I am a Business Process Analyst and the Atlassian Suite of tools (Jira/Confluence/Service Management/Product Discovery) are simply some of many tools (though, I think the best) available for executing on initiatives related to that role. I have realized more and more that I was born to analyze business processes with the goal of clarifying, documenting, streamlining, automating, eliminating redundancy, and reducing errors in said processes. Most of all, I love making work visible. This applies to both single-department and cross-department environments. As a consultant client of mine put it not too long ago, "It is in my DNA!" My change management experience adds a lot to this set of skills, as I am an excellent communicator and avoid surprises to the user community at all costs. I am open-minded and always consider other ideas, collaborate across teams, facilitate open and transparent discussion, and implement changes only after all affected stakeholders have agreed those changes will clearly provide significant improvements to how their work is performed. For the record, I truly embrace change management at a very deep level. Nothing satisfies me more than providing clear communications for all changes I make in a given environment, while ensuring that detailed plans are in place to roll a change back should something not go as planned. Change management is NOT just paperwork. A well-implemented change management system is invaluable. In fact, I was fundamental in designing Cisco System, Inc.'s "Control Center" business unit's entire change management system in Jira and more than 25,000 changes have been processed through that system in just the past couple of years. Thanks for reading this far. Have a great day ahead. JameMore...
