The first phase of my career can easily be summed up : 30 years' international experience in project management, COO and senior HR roles. What success I may have had may be attributed to the fact that I am equally at ease in executive and operational environments, to my analytical and organizational capacities, to my inter-personal skills – and, above all, to the fact that I was lucky enough to work with some amazing teams.
I have spent my professional life in generalist roles – but within me hides a specialist who yearns to master all the details. Fortunately, my various positions managing people across a wide range of activities enabled me to acquire expertise in a number of areas, notably strategy definition, project management, change management and human resources.
Since I left the corporate world, my time has been broadly split across four types of activity:
(1) Projects focusing on corporate culture, including intercultural competences and DEI.
(2) Entrepreneurial roles, typically helping start-ups and scale-ups define their business plans and financial models and implement their business strategies.
(3) HR projects, particularly around compensation & benefits, including design of equity participation models, remuneration policy audits, job framework design and implementation, and pay equity.
(4) Board roles with not-for-profits and startups.
I have a high level of expertise in Excel and Powerpoint. I'm adept with AI tools. I'm an excellent writer and editor.
I am bi-lingual English/French.More...
