While executing branding, and marketing for several clients in the public relations realm, Montaque also owns a business called Empress Mane, where she devotes her focus to producing positive, inclusive changes for those with textured hair by reflecting the visual representation of our world on retail shelves and increasing BIPOC, Black ownership and visibility within the beauty industry.
