Dr. Abramsohn brings 20 years of public service to IDPN, including 15 years with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her work has focused on catalyzing collaborations between public health and health care and has impacted critical public health priorities, including protecting the public from the harmful effects of tobacco use, increasing equitable access to vaccines, and responding to global public health emergencies. She has served as a subject matter expert on Medicare and Medicaid policy, federal and state health policy and strategy, and strategic relationships with private partners. IDPN is building enduring advocacy capacity to support the diverse pro-vaccine community and protect families and communities. IDPN supports strong, broad advocacy efforts and the coordination of resources to grow the pro-vaccine infrastructure to ensure access to vaccines for everyone. Erin is excited to bring her years of experience in public health policy, partnerships, and collaboration to protect access to essential health services like vaccines. Erin holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Public Health, both from the University of Iowa, and a Doctorate in Public Health from the University of North Carolina's Executive Doctoral Program in Health Leadership.More...
