Begawan Samad is a biosystems engineering graduate with a biomedical engineering concentration, driven by a commitment to improving quality of life through the intelligent design of biological systems. His academic and professional interests sit at the intersection of tissue engineering, self-assembling proteins, and biomedical instrumentation. Complementing his technical foundation, he has developed strong applied expertise in clinical research ecosystems, including quantitative microbial risk assessment, Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) training, regulatory gap analysis, and clinical trial operations and insurance planning. He is equally comfortable working from bench-scale concepts through to manufacturing and implementation, reflecting a systems-level engineering mindset.
