I have worked in Investor Relations for the entirety of my career with exposure to both the communications and finance sides of Investor Relations. Over the past twelve years I have been involved in several acquisitions and as such, gained insightful and privileged knowledge regarding the transactional realm of publicly traded businesses. My responsibilities within the function have included: writing, editing, and disseminating corporate documents, including news releases, financial reports, and corporate presentations; targeting potential shareholders, CRM management, and providing stock price performance analysis to C-suite executives and members of the Board of Directors; organizing and attending marketing tours, site tours and analyst days; developing and designing corporate websites and annual reports; and regularly communicating with members of the investment community, such as analysts, bankers and shareholders. In my previous role at Centerra Gold, I oversaw the launch of a new corporate website, developed a social media strategy, and reformed the historical processes of its IR function.
