As the Regional Registration Officer for the National identification Authority, my role is but not limited to, the creation of the national database, the issuing of National Identity Cards, managing the use of the database, establishing a national data centre, and systemising the collection, processing, storage, retrieval, and dissemination of Civil Data on the populace. For full execution of such a multifaceted mandate, the authority ensures the accuracy, integrity, and security of such collated data and where/when necessary makes it available to persons or institutions authorized by law to access such data.
