I lucked into my career as a BCBA 12 years ago when I entered the behavioral health field for a part-time job as a behavioral therapist offsetting my day job as a preschool teacher all while putting myself through my psychology degree. I feel in love with the science, came onboard full time as a behavior therapist while simultaneously attending graduate school and working full time with my clients. I have been a Pennsylvania Masters level clinician for a little over 8 years and a Board- Certified Behavior Analyst Clinical Supervisor getting closer to 5 years. I had the privilege to have access to a variety of clinical practicum experiences, client diagnoses and needs. This has been especially helpful as I’ve been able to build many transference skills with an interest in eventually pivoting out of my current practice model. While I aim to be as humble as possible, my two biggest passion areas that I’ll be working to work my skillset include instructional design and training as well as project management with the of ABA’s approach to using the research backed Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) to improve copy dynamics and retain good talent. I’ve spent the last 2 years building my portfolio and learning more skills while keeping an eye on market job trends. Data doesn’t lie and I’m a data scientist nerd at heart.More...
