Vassilis Kosmopoulos is an estimated filmmaker,
in fiction and documentaries as director-writer-producer,
experienced artistic/academic educator in film-directing, meticulous researcher and PhD candidate at the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema, University of Athens.

During his term, he officially represented Greek Cinema in international level to all important international Film community events (Cannes, Berlin, Venice etc. international film festivals) and was part of European Film policy-making organisations, as European Film Agency Directors association (EFADs).
Currently coordinates and supervises the strategic masterplan for the transformation of the Old Municipal Hospital of Patras to a “Digital Centre for Audiovisual Heritage and Innovation”,
