Amanda YuFan Wang is the Co-Founder of Gene Zone, bringing a distinctive combination of advanced biomedical research expertise and entrepreneurial leadership to revolutionize genetic data sharing through Web3 and AI technologies.
With a PhD in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2019-2023), a Master of Medicine in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from National Yang Ming University (2016-2018), and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Purdue University (2010-2014), Amanda has built a solid foundation in biomedical sciences spanning over a decade. Her professional journey includes four years as a Research Assistant at Lihpao Life Science Corp. (2014-2018), where she developed expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), machine learning applications in genetic analysis, and vaccine development, followed by five years as a PhD Researcher at CUHK conducting advanced clinical research.
Since co-founding Gene Zone in July 2024, Amanda has successfully established the company as a pioneer at the intersection of genomics and blockchain technology, developing decentralized platforms for secure genetic data exchange, data ownership systems, and collaborative research environments.
