Jay Winship currently serves as GoDigital Media Group’s Chief Executive Officer of the MENA/Indo-Pacific/APAC & Oceania regions, responsible for looking after the global entertainment industry’s fastest growing and diverse region, accounting for half the world’s population.
Jay has held various executive leadership positions within the GDMG family of companies since he joined AdShare as its Chief Operating Officer in May 2014. In that time, Jay has helped to grow the APAC region from a small team of four staff in Seoul with a single Asian client, to over 100 team-members across six countries, supporting GDMG’s global client base and providing critical infrastructure support to the enterprise.
Prior to joining GDMG, Jay spent nearly two
decades of his 25-year career working in strategy consulting, post-merger integrations, resolving distressed assets during both the Asian Financial Crisis in 1998 as well as the Global Financial Crisis of 2008, and engineering operational turnarounds within Fortune 50 multinational corporations on both sides of the Pacific Ocean.
Jay grew up in Asia and graduated from Seoul International School, where he still serves as President of its Alumni Association. Jay then went on to read International Relations and Management at both St Andrews University in Scotland as well as the University of London. Jay has bilingual fluency in English and Korean.More...
