Highly decorated band and orchestra director in the Houston area. Throughout my 27 year career as a teacher and musician, I have built successful programs often doubling or tripling success. I had the first grant to start a Life-Skills (special need) Bell Choir which was run by my GT music students through a membership program I designed - MUSE - Music Unites Students Everywhere. Then, I was diagnosed with complications due to a genetic disorder (cystic fibrosis) and was basically forced to retire. I am still a highly motivated, intelligent, hard working individual wishing to contribute to society. Though I have outlived most with CF, I refuse to go quietly. My five year plan is to start a non-profit to help children receive free counseling and group therapy in after school settings independent of income.
