BSc(Hons) in Microbiology. Began my career in Toxicology before switching to the food industry, where I spent over 40 years in Soft Drinks, along with 3 years in the Meat Industry. Was chair of the Micro Panel of RSSL in the 1990s. Have worked with most major soft drink companies in many different roles, including Technical Manager in Africa in the 80s & 90s. India, Central America & the Caribbean, and finally in Asia. Moved to NZ in 2002 where I have been Quality & Environment Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager (gaining a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma processes), Food Defence Manager.
I have also served as a local District Councillor(St Albans, UK) for 16 years.
