Steve Boone is the General Manager of Floor Centre. Since joining the company in 2013, he has been instrumental in transforming Floor Centre into a scalable, professionalized contractor poised for long-term growth.
Starting as Operations Manager, Steve introduced standardized systems, formalized quality assurance practices, and modernized operations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he successfully led the transition from a fully in-office model to a hybrid-capable organization—demonstrating his ability to lead through change.
Promoted to General Manager in 2020, he assumed responsibility for finance, operations, sales, and strategic direction. Steve developed the company’s 2022 strategic plan and helped expand its footprint in large-scale commercial and institutional projects.
Under his leadership, Floor Centre grew from $9 million to over $15 million in revenue—growth that was part of a deliberate, long-term succession strategy now culminating in the management buy-out.
