Political Scientist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) and Master's in Information Processing and Management from the same institution. His research interests include quantitative research methods, social policy, and political institutions. He currently serves as coordinator of the "State, Institutions, and Welfare Regimes" program, where he conducts research on political institutions and welfare systems. Since 2018, he has also been a researcher in the “Work, Employment, and Health Equity” (TEES) program at FLACSO Chile, focusing on topics related to social policy, the social determinants of health, and occupational health. In addition, he teaches quantitative methods at FLACSO Chile. His broader work centers on the analysis of inequality in Latin America, the design and impact of social policies, and social science research methodologies, with a particular emphasis on the use of quantitative methods to generate empirical evidence.
