I am a (British/Canadian) Emmy-Award and Leo Award nominated film and TV producer and Director currently based in Vancouver, Canada. My primary focus is creative development, pitching new shows and movies within my current studio, taking new development to conferences and supporting all things creative as far as production goes once a show or film receives a green light.
I have been in Vancouver for the last 12 years and have had the opportunity to work with client partners at companies such as Netflix, Warner Bros, Lucasfilm, Disney and Peacock. I have also worked directly with partners on our own IP productions, having been acquired by Sky, Knowledge Network, CBC Canada, Cineplex, Cinemark and Landmark Theatres.
My experience as a creative producer and director includes creating, developing, and selecting new TV shows and films for kids and families, writing outlines and stories for episodes of existing shows, and working directly with the director to ensure editorial notes align with their notes along with editing and directing in both animation and live action. I also lead on casting and voice directing on our projects, and contribute to the story and storyboarding process by pitching ideas for shows and films. I spend time noting outlines and scripts, and among other things, providing visual feedback for production designers and music composers. Along with voice direction, I have also supervised and coordinated hundreds of voice sessions in Vancouver and Los Angeles and supervised orchestra recordings in Europe.
As a producer, I have managed full production from initial concept through storyboards, principal photography and animation to post-production while successfully managing the production budget and personnel and building production budgets from scratch for both live-action and animated feature films and TV shows.
