I started my career (after graduating with my bachelor's degree in IT) as a computer programmer for a large, regional telephone company before becoming a stay-at-home mom to my two sons. I returned to school to earn my master's degree and teacher licensure. I was voted teacher of the year by my peers. I received various service awards and hosted teachers-in-training based on my performance and leadership ability. I pursued additional endorsements to my teaching certificate and earned my specialist degree (a degree awarded in education halfway to a doctorate) in math education. My students consistently exceeded expectations on state-mandated testing. I have presented at local and statewide education conferences. I recently retired and desire to work and fulfill my goals as a lifelong learner. I am well-versed in logic, math, programming, data analysis, and Microsoft Office products.
