As President of Expert SEO Consulting, I am responsible for managing the business operations and client relationships of the company. I have been focused on organic search – and audience development in general – for nearly 20 years and is a seasoned veteran of the interactive industry. Before starting Expert SEO Consulting, I was the Head of Audience Development for Complex Media. Started by fashion designer Marc Ecko, the web sites that make up Complex Media target young urban males between 16 and 35 years old who are interested in sneakers, pop culture, fashion, sports, and music. During my tenure there, my team was responsible for growing the Complex network from 100 million unique users to a publishing behemoth that attracted nearly 350 million unique users and 1.2 billion page views a month using paid search, organic search, content syndication, social media, and email. Before moving to Complex, I was the Vice President of Search and Social Media for TechMediaNetwork (now called Purch). While at TMN my team and I focused on driving traffic to the Company’s series of tech shopping and lifestyle sites using organic search, email, and social media. Prior to TechMediaNetwork, I was the VP of SEO and Technology for Search Marketing Agency 360i where the team and I developed many of the proprietary technologies for optimizing organic search campaigns that are used by MSO (Martha Stewart Optimedia), Enterprise Rent A Car, Turner Broadcasting, NBC/Universal and others. Before 360i, I ran Enterprise Sales for technology vendors RichFX (purchased by ChannelAdvisor) and Viewpoint. I was VP of Interactive Services at the Grey Ventures division of Grey Global Group as well as acting Global CIO for the 28 world-wide offices of Grey Interactive.
