I am Raquel Pellicano, a photographer and visual artist with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Arts. Over the past 14 years, I have immersed myself in the photographic industry while also sharing my knowledge through courses and workshops on commercial photography. In 2018, I founded the postgraduate program *Photography as a Support for the Imagination*, merging artistic exploration with academic depth.
Throughout my career, I’ve contributed to acclaimed publications such as *Trip*, *VIP*, *LATAM Vamos!*, *Playboy*, and *Traços* magazine. My work has also extended into public speaking, including a 2012 lecture for Fnac Brasil, and podcasting, as seen in my 2020 appearance on *Psicologia de Bar* with Mayã Fernandes. Additionally, I participated in the *Private Collection* project, offering insights into Brazilian artists alongside Raisa Pina.
I’ve had the privilege of serving as a juror for prestigious events like the *Memórias ao Quadrado* photography contest by IDP and the *Baleia Awards* in Visual Arts, where I contributed to curatorial themes for its third edition. My expertise in expography was demonstrated in two editions of the *508 Hours of Inclusive Exhibitions* project, and my creative vision materialized in the *Remanências* project, where I captured 110 portraits in Brasília.
Beyond photography, I’ve embraced event management, overseeing operations for *Quintas no Quintal* restaurant and photographing culinary delights for their social media. My passion for cultural exchange has driven me to organize over five photographic trips and activities, including journeys to Inhotim, the Paraty em Foco Festival, Cuba, and the Atacama Desert. At *Espaço f/508 de Cultura*, I coordinated the photography gallery, curating both group and solo exhibitions that spotlighted diverse artistic voices.
