Max Geller has been in Recruiting for 15 years across multiple industries. He began his career working for a Recruiting agency supporting investment banks in hiring engineering talent post mortgage crisis. He evolved his book of business to focus on hiring engineering talent into tech companies in 2015 and made the transition to an internal Recruiter role at a Data Intelligence company, Enigma, in 2017. He spent 2019 as a Recruiting consultant, focused on hiring, recruiting strategy and process improvement for 15 difference growth stage startups. The last ~5 years he has been Head of Recruiting for Arena, an applied AI startup in NYC and for Adonis, a health tech startup in NYC focused intelligence and automation for Revenue Cycle Management.
His focus has always been on building strong relationships with candidates which has resulted in an acceptance rate of greater than 90% in his time as Head of Recruiting. Helped scale Arena from 7 employees to 75 employees (80% of the company was engineering, so mostly technical roles across software engineering, applied ML and data science) in 18 months.
