I have 15 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience. I have previously worked for CPA offices and am used to doing full-cycle bookkeeping.
I have done journal entries, accrual accounting, bank reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliations. I have experience with month-end closing, including compiling and presenting financial statements.
I primarily use Quickbooks Online for accounting, however I can adapt to most accounting software. I also have excellent MS Excel skills - creating complex spreadsheets and using vlookups, and pivot tables.
I am seeking a project-based workflow because I would like to add variety to my work life.
An example of a project I was involved in was acquiring insurance carrier statements to pay agents' old commissions. The money owed started out at $1.2M, and I was able to reduce that amount to $450K in six months.
