Her work has taken her to Haiti, where she volunteered with an orphanage, helping staff and adoptive parents become more trauma-informed. She has worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including children and adults who are survivors of sexual abuse. She is certified in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) and has helped families process trauma together. She is also certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is currently the primary treatment she utilizes in her practice today. She is also an EMDR Consultant and Facilitator as well as a Qualified Licensure Supervisor in the state of Florida. She focuses on exposing and unrooting trauma.
