I am a person who loves technology, culture, people and education. I have been leading Ebony English as the CEO for all processes to digital transformation resulting in an Edtech. With over 25 years in the private sector, I've gained extensive experience across various functions within multinational companies. My proven track record includes leveraging strong accountability and budget management skills to consistently deliver analysis and projects under budget and on time. Additionally, my experience in marketing, IT, and product/project management has allowed me to develop products bringing over BRL 1MM for the company.
Beyond my corporate experience, I have a strong commitment to social justice. I have been actively involved in supporting human rights initiatives and raising awareness. Additionally, my work in the private sector has included informal efforts to address issues of race and gender discrimination, reflecting my values and desire for a more equitable world. My efforts to address these issues, even when met with resistance, ultimately fostered more discussions on an equitable work environment. This experience showcases my leadership in tackling difficult conversations and creating positive change. I was among the first to openly discuss racism within corporate environments in 1998 and early 2000, and the Hip Hop Movement is the big responsible for my consciousness in this way. As a Black woman, single mother, and daughter of a single mother who worked as a maid, I understand the importance of perseverance and hard work towards eradication of racism and gender discrimination. These experiences have shaped my work ethic, resistance, and dedication to creating a brighter future.
