Charles Ridlehuber serves as the Executive Director of Doe Mountain Recreation Authority, where he leads the strategic vision and operational management of one of Tennessee’s premier off-road and outdoor recreation destinations. Under his leadership, Doe Mountain has continued to grow as a four-season adventure hub, offering 8,700 acres of protected mountain terrain for off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, hiking, and eco-tourism.
With a career spanning over two decades in parks, recreation, and community development, Charles brings a wealth of experience in land stewardship, outdoor programming, and public-private partnerships. Prior to joining Doe Mountain, he served in multiple parks and recreation leadership roles in Virginia and Tennessee, earning recognition for advancing regional collaboration and outdoor accessibility.
Throughout his tenure, Charles has successfully overseen infrastructure expansion, introduced new recreational amenities, and prioritized sustainable land use practices. His work has positioned Doe Mountain as a model for rural outdoor recreation, economic development, and conservation.
