Producer and screenwriter, Ada Maria Ichim started her TV career at ProTV, the first Romanian commercial television, in 1995. She continued launching channels with HBO and won a Fullbright scholarship in film production at the University of New Orleans. Moving to London, she produced campaigns and videos for several broadcasters (BBC, Disney) and agencies (VIACOM, On Demand and BDA). She produced several short films, selected at international festivals Freshwater (Portobello, IPIFF, 2007). Upon her return to Romania in 2010, she worked as a tv writer and script doctor for MediaPro. In 2012, she launched and produced Digicult, a weekly cultural magazine for Digi24. From 2013 she produced documentaries and shows for TVR. She did a series of documentaries around the young actors’ competition – Gala Hop, which were selected in DocuART 2016 and were broadcast on TVR, TVR International and TVR Moldova.
