Veronica Ramirez, as the esteemed Choir Director at the Diocese of Laredo, is the first Choir Director for the relatively new Diocese of Laredo (established in 2000). As Laredo is located on the border with Mexico, Liturgies are celebrated in English, Spanish and, at times, Bilingual. Under her leadership, the choir has performed at Diocesan Anniversary Masses, Ordinations, and several Liturgical holidays celebrated throughout the year. Veronica strives to blend traditional hymns with contemporary compositions in a variety of languages. Her dedication to liturgical music has awarded her the position of Music Director of her own life-long parish of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She has been entrusted with the organization of the Diocese’s 10th and 25th Anniversary and the 75th Anniversary of her parish Liturgical
